VWL 1200 Vertical Wire Laying

The VWL 1200 is a vertical format, 3-axis, SIEMENS CNC controlled electrofusion wire laying machine, designed for the wire laying of medium to large fittings or pipe sections.

OPERATING PROGRAM

The machine is equipped with software dedicated to producing fittings in the range 125 to 1200mm internal diameter.  Lift assist equipment is available for the handling of heavy components.

Optional 2-axis CNC Drilling Unit available for drilling fusion indicators during wire laying cycle, or for drilling terminal holes during external profiling cycle.

Couplers up to 710mm ID held using automatic clamping fixtures.  Couplers up to 1200mm ID held using manual end clamping fixtures using a clamping feature integral to coupler design.  Couplers from 450 to 710mm ID can also be clamped manually (subject to their design).
