MSA Engineering Systems Limited were formally presented with their Queen’s Award for Enterprise: Innovation 2017, on 12 September 2017. MSA were pleased to welcome Her Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant of Leicestershire, The Lady Gretton, for the Award Presentation ceremony.
The Award was presented to MSA for the development of patented wire laying systems used for the manufacture of electrofusion fittings, and was granted based on the company’s performance over 2 years, centering on MSA’s innovation of a system for wire laying directly into curved surfaces creating electrofusion saddle fittings, and related equipment for bifilar wire laying of large electrofusion couplers, flat pads and other specialist electrofusion fittings. Due to the sales of the innovation MSA’s turnover increased by 92% from 2014 to 2015. Sales of equipment in this period were to markets such as Turkey, Canada, Romania, Czech Republic, India, and Saudi Arabia
After the ceremony The Lady Gretton was given a full tour of the premises, followed by a buffet lunch and drinks.
MSA were absolutely delighted to be able to receive the Queen’s Award, which is a tremendous recognition for the company and all staff.
